NUME Research Group is pleased to announce the official program of NATURE & DREAM: STUDIES ON THE REPRESENTATION OF REALITY IN THE MIDDLE AGES 2017, a starting point for the development of a project aimed at the mental representations of reality during the European Middle Ages.
The roundtable will focus on the medieval category of reality, with particular attention to the relationship between nature and other worlds, such as the dream, the miracle, the legend, the epic. We will host scholars from around the world, giving their contribution to the problem of mental representation of the real in philosophical, literary and artistic fields, as well as the impact this representation has on specific aspects of European medieval culture.
